What your Windows PC needs.
NexxusOS Desktop is a Windows application. What your PC needs depends on how you use it: running models locally asks much more of your hardware than connecting a provider.
During early access, compatibility for your system is confirmed as part of the access process. A full, tested requirements list will be published here before any public download.
Local-model mode
Running a model on your device uses its processor, memory, graphics hardware and disk space. Larger models need more of each, and some need a capable graphics card to be practical. Requirements are model-specific; you'll get the details for supported models with your access.
Connected-provider mode
Using a configured provider moves model processing to that provider, so local hardware matters less — but you still need a supported Windows PC, space for the app and your workspace, a reliable internet connection and an account with the provider.
