One workspace around the models you choose.

NexxusOS Desktop is a personal AI workspace for Windows. It brings conversations, memory, documents, browsing, research and supported actions into one application that runs on top of Windows.

The model can change while your workspace stays put. What you can see — your files, your records and the permissions you've given — stays visible.

Conversation & Memory

Work with your own assistant, and review and correct what it remembers.

  • You choose your assistant's name. There is no fixed universal assistant identity.
  • Supported memory is something you can review and correct. Forgetting a memory is separate from deleting a conversation record.
  • Memory is not unlimited context and does not guarantee recall.

Memory entry

Prefers short summaries with sources listed at the end.

Files & Projects

Bring selected material into a searchable workspace, organised around the projects you return to.

  • Choose which files to include in a request instead of handing over a whole drive.
  • Organise material around the projects you come back to.
  • Supported file formats are confirmed release by release.

Writer

Go from a rough idea to a document you can edit, save and export.

  • Start from a rough idea or from selected source material.
  • Edit, save and export the document from the same workspace.
  • Round-tripping complex Word or PDF layouts is not guaranteed.

Launch briefing — draft

The first milestone focuses on the core workspace. Open questions are listed in the research notes and should be settled before the scope is fixed.

Browser & Research

Keep browsing and source-based research next to the conversation, with sources you can inspect.

  • Browse next to the conversation instead of switching windows.
  • Research results list their sources so you can inspect them.
  • Sources make claims easier to check; they don't guarantee correctness.

“Teams in the pilot asked for shorter weekly summaries.”

  • Source 1 · Pilot feedback notes (example)
  • Source 2 · Interview summary (example)

Tasks & Approvals

Review supported work before it runs, and see what completed versus what didn't.

  • Supported actions are proposed first, so you can review them before they run.
  • Results show what completed and what didn't, in words as well as icons.
  • An action record shows the request, the approval, what ran and where the result was saved.
  • Rename draft filesProposed
